Fat Fighters

Cyril has been for his weigh in and the vet is very pleased. He now weighs a very healthy 29.8 kilos. So now (Lorraine) his ears seem to fit his head better. I think it's that trouser thing, when you put on weight your trousers get shorter.

None of this is down to us, I might add, we have just continued with the good work that had already been done by the time he came to us by his fosters.

You will also be pleased to know, that he has been off his tablets for his chest for 2 weeks and so far seems to be absolutely fine.

DRUM ROLL.....We have also got him to be on his own now for a whole hour!!! We don't lock him in anywhere, as it seems to make him more anxious, so he has free run of the majority of the house. He seems to have a little dribble when we first leave but when we return he is calm within a couple of minutes so we are taking that as a good sign.

He loves his walks but he still has an inner couch potato so on Sunday mornings he gets a lie in.
