We all had a lovely time at the reunion, once we got there, our van broke on the Friday so we ended up going just for the day on Saturday. Cyril, as expected slept most of the way there and let us know when he needed a pit stop. We met up with some friends that we hadn't seen for ages which was great and due to Cyril made some new ones.
Cyril remembered everyone who had fostered him and met them in his lovely bounce and wag way, not just once but every time he saw them that day. I'm not sure they have forgiven us for calling him Cyril though!!
We also found out more about these people who give up there time and their homes and in Cyril's case their furniture (Sorry Denise) to accommodate the dogs when they most need it. Anyone who has met Cyril since he has been with us meets a very lovely, friendly, healthy, relaxed laid back dog. Cyril was a drooling, panting, panicking wreck, over weight and with some health issues, seeing a dog panic is horrible, you're helpless. It is only the patience, kindness and love of these fosterers that ensure that these dogs make it and become the lovely dogs that Cyril was by the time he came to us. We think you are all AMAZING!!!
